CMOB - Cabinet Makers on Budget   Watch the movie

How large is your profit for this job?
What about profits for this month or this year to date?

Estimates and Contract Pricing

It all starts with an accurate estimate of:

Material Costs - confirmed quotes or historical material costs (tracked for you).

Labor Costs - from your activated job with its copy from a template of manufacturing tasks.

Outsourcing Costs -

Company Overhead - calculated along with other costs and should be included on a job by job basis for a true cost.

With all the costs included and accounted for the total profit and the contract price can be set.

Profit / Loss Report

As costs are realized during manufacturing (i.e. labor tasks take more or less time than planned; or materials are wasted and more need to be ordered) the actual profit of each job is realized in the CMOB Index.

This can be compared to your month's budget and the financial goals for the year you set in your business plan.

CMOB issues Low Alert!

If profits are not on budget the cost and performance issues are right in front of you so you can address and resolve them.

The CMOB Index lets you see the profit status on all active jobs using summary report pages that don't reveal the actual profit figures to your staff.
